Today I'm really excited to announce I got to interview Spencer Berke. I know Spencer from Instagram, he has quiet the account to follow for anyone who loves cars, but I'll let him talk about it. At first I followed him because of the pictures he would put up, I soon realized he was the definition of what Paved By Success would eventually come to portray. He truly is an individual to look up to.

"Beyond Scared Straight"
The other day I was watching a few episodes of A&E's Beyond Scared Straight and I realized so many people need something like that for many different reasons.
For those of you who don't know, the show features a number of "at risk teens" who spend some time at a local prison in order to open their eyes to the possible end result of the path they are currently leading. In the end they tend to change and start a path towards a better future.

Update: Semester is Over
The past few weeks have been very long and stressful for me with the semester coming to a close, but I'm all done now and for the next month I have to give 200% on my personal projects. Look for a few new and interesting things coming soon.

Interview: Paul Straun
I recently thought of doing weekly interviews with some young people who have been working real hard to achieve a their goals, click here for a reminder. So I put the word out to a few friends I know and I'm happy to say that today is the first of hopefully many interviews to come.
Just a quick intro:
I met Paul Straun working at Finishline and I have to admit, he's an extremely unique individual trying to make it in the tough world of music. At such a young age he has a work ethic that knows no bounds and really needs to be admired. He's a great guy, always smiling and enjoying life, and ALWAYS working his ass off. So I was extremely honored when he agreed to take the time out and answer a few questions for me.

Overcoming "Finding the Time"
At this point in anyone who is reading this knows me personally and probably knows I'm an architecture student. Now anyone who knows about being an architecture student knows that it's a major that is MAJORLY time consuming. For an architecture student to find free time is tough, so why do I feel like blogging about this?

New Layout
I've spent some time playing around with the layout of my blog. I think I've come up with a decent design that looks and works well.
